Among the highlights was the Silent Hill franchise making a significant return with Silent Hill 2, a remake of the beloved game, accompanied by a playable teaser called Silent Hill: The Short Message. The latter is a first-person horror game reminiscent of the legendary P.T. teaser.
Another notable announcement came from Hideo Kojima, revealing Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, a sequel with a 10-minute trailer offering glimpses of the 2025 game. Norman Reedus reprises his role as Sam in this futuristic sci-fi delivery simulator.
Additionally, Rise of Ronin, a PlayStation 5 exclusive, presented a new trailer, offering a third-person action-adventure experience set in Japan focusing on sword fighting. It is set to release on March 22.
For PSVR 2 users, Metro Awakening took the spotlight, serving as a prequel to the mainline Metro games developed by Vertigo Studios Amsterdam.
Lastly, Stellar Blade, an exclusive for PlayStation 5, showcased a release date of April 26. The game features Eve, a female warrior fighting an alien force in a Bayonetta-inspired style, making it a technical showpiece for PS5 owners.
